All our concerts are held in the church at 83 Portsmouth Road.
The main entrance to the free parking is in Millmead Terrace which is accessed from Bury Fields at the end of Lawn Road.
Kim Mai Hua is a second-year scholarship student at the Royal College of Music studying with Leonid Kerbel. A former music scholar at Guildford High School, where she played the Bach Double Concerto during her final year, she began lessons at the age of six with Joanna Hort, progressing to the Primary and Junior Departments of the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music. She has won many awards in music festivals and competitions, was awarded distinction in her LRSM diploma in 2022, and has been praised for her well-developed technique, maturity and sensitivity both as a soloist and chamber musician.
Aleksandra Myslek is a Polish collaborative pianist and répétiteur actively establishing her presence in the classical music scene across Europe and China. Her early education was marked by a deep affinity for the music of Fryderyk Chopin, earning her a special prize from the National Fryderyk Chopin Society when she was nine years old. Later competition successes led to a scholarship from the Polish Ministry of Arts and Culture. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, where she studied with Prof. Christopher Elton and Prof. Hamish Milne, Aleksandra has performed at prestigious venues, including Wigmore Hall, the Barbican Hall, and the Anvil Basingstoke, and has appeared on BBC Radio 3's "In Tune" programme. A significant milestone was her debut at Carnegie Hall as part of the Renée Fleming Song Studio. As a répétiteur, Aleksandra has been involved in notable opera companies, including Opera Holland Park, the Waterperry Opera Festival, and the production of The Turn of the Screw at the Bath Ustinov Studio during the Deborah Warner Season. Currently, she serves as a staff pianist at Trinity Laban Conservatoire and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.
